"We typically lodge at this property when in the area. However, we were not pleased with our room this time. We had our grandchildren this time and thought we would remain in our room, after traveling a distance. Everyone was tired. Case in point: When we walked into the room, the smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling. I went downstairs to tell the desk clerk; she wrote down what I had said and thanked me for informing her. To me, this was serious enough to warrant a complaint. That said, we will more than likely not return."
