Southlake House at Cultus is a luxury cottage with all the amenities of your home. Nestled in the mountains and near Cultus Lake, this cottage is part of the Cottages at Cultus resort community which features two pools, two hot tubs, playgrounds, tennis courts, hiking trails, a 10,000 square foot clubhouse with pool tables, shuffle board, a full gym, private movie theatre and more.

This cottage is elegantly decorated, fully furnished and ideal for a restful getaway any time of the year. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (master has a queen sized bed, secondary has bunk beds - bottom bunk double size, top bunk single) - additional single cot available for 6th guest. Two full bathrooms, full laundry, multiple fire places and fully equipped kitchen make this cottage like a home away from home.

Only 90 minutes from Vancouver and only 15 minutes from the Cultus Lake Water Park and Amusement Park, this is a great home base for exploring the area. Relax on the large front or back porches, take a stroll to the local creek, visit the lake, lay poolside, play in the area or just explore the beautiful surroundings - this cottage offers guest endless possibilities to unwind and spend time with your family.

Beautiful Location, friendly host.
We were familiar with the location as a relative had previously had a property there. It is a wonderful gated community. Friendly, stacked full of amenities. Community hall, pool and gym and treasured area for children (which my Grandson adored). Real home from home feel which was so appreciated. Minor problem when first arriving, but host helped us sort it immediately. Couple of areas that could do with little TLC. However, this is far, far balanced by the amazing value for money and the lovely holiday home.One final point is that when I needed to ask a question prior to check-in it was a virtual assistant, which wasn’t helpful. Overall, thanks so much Greg and Corrina for sharing your lovely home.

Only pictures are good, but not on real life
We arrived at 9:30 pm after several hours of driving. When we turned on the lights, the cottage felt a bit dirty... but when we went to the bathroom on the second floor we noticed that the towels were not white, they were old and stiff and looking at the first floor from above, there was a lot of dust... then below from the girls' bed... there were moths and a lot of dust, it seemed not cleaned for months. It really grossed us out and I contacted the Host and VRBO with photos... but the Host told me it was very bad that it didn't meet my standards. VRBO asked me to send photos. but the next day, after breakfast, we noticed that the floor mat was originally beige and it was too dirty, so I took more photos and sent them to the host, who asked me to. we left as that cottage required professional cleaning and would take a week to dry the carpeted floor.

A winter in BC
This is a gated community, very uniform, very quiet, beautifully kept. It has access to a party room, exercise room, and outdoor pools and hot tub (open during holiday times in the winter). Grandchildren loved the pool. There is only one road from Chilliwack out to the properties at the end of Cultus Lake. It is not fast and it is beautiful. We enjoyed the numerous hikes in the area. The host was very responsive.

Summer Getaway
We enjoyed our week at the cottages. The community is very peaceful and friendly and the cottage is very close to the pool area. The cottage itself is furnished beautifully and the deck has a great bbq and large table for out door eating. There is also a fire pit with seating and a hammock for relaxing. The hosts were available for any questions and provided a great check in package that explained everything.

Great place. Great amenities.
Lots of room and furnished like a real home. Plenty of kitchen utensils so theres no need to take anything. BBQ is great. Front and back deck are great. Firepit with wood is a good touch. Only 50m from the pools and hot tubs and gym etc. Really great spot.

Cozy, fun filled week with the family
We have stayed at the cottages at cultus before and love the amenities. There is a kids pool and deep end pool with 2 hot tubs, gym, playroom, playgrounds and much more. Greg's place was cozy and had everything we needed for our family of 4. You can sleep an additional 2 to 3 people comfortably if needed. This cottage also has a personal fire pit in the back yard which was great for evening fires and smores. The location is great just a few steps away from the pool. We will definitely plan to come back.
