Despite notifying them of late arrival and assured the code was functional, we were locked out and had to find another hotel at 1 AM because the property manager was unresponsive (she says she is unavailable because she is sleeping). They refunded us for the night, but the stress of not knowing if the door will unlock with no one to assist...

"This renovated 8 unit motel is a sweet spot for a beach getaway. The renovation is well done and everything is clean and accurately described, with easy on site parking and lots of walkable dining. It’s an easy walk to the beach. Think of this as a sweet little self-serve hotel room by the beach. My teen daughter and I stayed here and it worked well. There’s not a lot of room to hang out, so plan to be out and about and use this as your cozy home base with a very comfy bed to rest well at night....
