Avoid if possible!

We were travelling from Switzerland to Calais and back to uk. Needed somewhere inbetween to rest. Had good reviews so booked this place and also had free parking. The checkin is only open from 1600-2000. We were running late and therefore had to contact reception. The lady who assisted us was wonderful and organised out of hours check in The parking is on street parking and depends on availability of space and therefore free parking is not necessary available. The room was not clean. It smelt foul. There was mould on the sponge on the sink. One of the beds smelt like a drunk homeless man had slept on it. Had stains on the sheets. Could not sleep on that at all! The other bed had small bits on it. We slept with our clothes and for the minimum necessary to recuperate and be on our way The window opens directly onto the street where there is a bar and was noisy all night (it was a Friday night) I am surprised that it has 9/10 rating! Would definitely not rate it at all

Nous avons réservé un appart de luxe avec baignoire vue jardin pour nous retrouver dans un vulgaire studio au RDC très bruyant avec vue direct sur la rue. Apres avoir fait la remarque au gérant ce dernier a rejeté la responsabilité sur le site Expedia qui apparemment modifie le contenue des annonces et que le propriétaire ne peux rien faire " c'est la faute des plateformes. Habitué a réserver avec Expedia je tiens tout de même a signalé que je n'ai jamais rencontré ce genre de problème
