"This geodesic dome facility is for the adventurous traveller. There is no running water, no electricity, a 150 yard walk to the porta-potties (very clean), and no cell phone service. But there is a running stream (supposedly stocked with trout but none seen in September), a dry shelter, a comfortable king size bed (bring your own linens and/or sleeping bags), 2 bunk beds in a separate room, a deck overlooking the stream with a fireplace and comfortable Adirondack chairs, and a large grassy lawn....

"All around great experience! Lovely, well maintained historic home run by really nice people. Room and facilities were clean and bed was super comfy. Yummy country breakfast and other guests were delightful. If you book through anyone other than the Tavern, highly recommend contacting the owners first for best directions to avoid the way our GPS routed us! Otherwise, we highly recommend Buffalo Tavern!"
