Tentrr-Riverfront Ritz

  • You can't beat this!!!!Drive right up to this spectacular riverfront campsite in your 4WD/AWD vehicle literally a stones toss from the water, away from main highway, down a scenic private road. This is the only campsite on 42 acres and it isn't in a backyard or pasture. Campsite is very well equipped with cast iron cookware, Dishware, silverware, camp towels, dish soap, tea pot, all the things you need and some you didn't even know you needed. Main Safari tent has queen bed with a real mattress. (Bring your own bedding) There is now another platform with second Safari canvas tent also with queen bed with a real mattress and its own propane heater. This second tent is included in the daily rate. An extra tent is available to set up if needed. Two Coleman cots available as an add on. Two burner gas cooktop with a Coleman Coffee Maker and weber grill available as extras. Don't fret about what the weatherman predicts, we all know they are mostly wrong!

Rita thought of everything! Very well-equipped. We didn't need to bring anything but ourselves and food to have a ton of fun. Will definitely be coming back.

Rita is nothing short of phenomenal. She made sure to check in with us daily to make sure we were okay, to see if we needed anything, and to chat which I love and our kids love her very much too saying she is so nice and caring! Now to the property-everything is exactly as stated ONLY BETTER. You will think you need to bring your own supplies but you don't. Everything we needed was already on site. There really aren't a lot of bugs either! We had fun out on the water, cooking over a campfire, catching frogs, fishing, and during the rain we played cards! It's so secluded and serene. We hope to make this a yearly trip.

I don’t know where to start. First,I would like to say Rita was fantastic. She was right there when we got there and brought us right to the campsite and showed us around and then came back the next day to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything. When we finally settled in, we started one of the best camping experiences and believe me we do a lot of camping! The view was unbelievable. The site was right by the water with paddle boat, canoe, kayaks and a floating raft to hang out in the sun. There are two bedroom ( we only needed one) but they were both in great condition with a queen size beds. Plus a deck to hang out on in the morning with your coffee and enjoy the view. Rita also has fish food to feed the fish. It was amazing to see them all jump up out of the water to eat. We brought our pup and she loved it. She loved walking around, relaxing and diving in the water. “Couldn’t keep her out”That was her first camping trip. and she loved it as much as we did. This is the only campsite on the property so it was peaceful and very quiet with no one to bother you. We definitely will go back there again and again. Thank you Rita for a wonderful two days. Really wish we could of stayed there another day.
