This two bedroom unit is super clean and a great place to relax. The property is rural, yet centrally located to 5 lakes, skiing at Gore Mountain, and famous Lake George Village, with easy highway access only five minutes away. Sleeps 4 adults plus 1 infant. If you have a smaller or larger group, please inquire about the availability of a 4 bedroom house or the adjacent 7 bedroom house. CLEAN and COZY! Unwind and relax in a clutter free space. Both bedrooms feature luxurious bed linens and beds are prepped for your arrival. The fully equipped kitchen features cookware, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, and small appliances. A full bathroom with tub/shower include a bath towel set for each guest. Washer & dryer in private laundry room. Infant booster seats and pack \`n\` play included. Enjoy the outdoors with the outdoor fire pit with seating. Private lake access is a short distance away with private parking, boat docking, a picnic table, and a 2nd fire pit. Guests are welcome to use the numerous canoes and kayaks and their related equipment. Ground level entrance with sidewalks and paved parking. We keep all parking and walkways easily accessible through winter. Plenty of parking for 6 vehicles. Please, if you have a need for something, we will do everything we can to accommodate. Loon Lake is a quiet lake with nearby swimming, fishing, and boating. Nearby restaurants and local breweries for every palette. Motor boat rentals and ski equipment available from the local marina. During the winter, enjoy skiing at Gore Mountain or take in nature on cross country skis or snowshoes. Snowmobile rentals available just down the road. Only 25 minutes to historic Lake George Village and The Great Escape theme park. There is a local taxi service should you need a ride. Brant lake Taxi (518) 494-2507. Please, if you have a need for something, we will do everything we can to accommodate. We understand guests have individual needs. We love feedback and an opportunity to make your stay a pleasure. Let us know what type of activities you prefer and we are more than happy to make recommendations. The primary renter must be 21 years of age or older. Guests are provided a \`Guest Guide\` which outlines our rules and expectations for things such as where to put the trash, cleaning, Wi-Fi access, etc. All summer bookings are 7 days and turnover on Saturdays. All reservations must begin and end on a Saturday during our summer season. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 10am. Should you desire an earlier check-in or later check-out time, please inquire to owner for availability and if there is a fee. Housekeeping may arrive promptly on check-out day. We understand check-out morning can be challenging for guests, however, we have a very small window of time to properly prepare the residence for the next guest arrival. Late departures cause us to incur added expenses and last minute staff adjustments. Unfortunately, because of this, we will charge a \`late departure\` fee of $50 after 15 minutes and every 30 minutes thereafter if the property has not been vacated. House Care & Cleaning Expectations: Our cleaning fee covers a standard turnover cleaning — sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, laundering linens & re-making beds, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and general tidying. It does not include maid service during your stay, deep cleaning, or cleaning up excessive messes. It is expected that our home, it’s contents, and the property be treated respectfully and in a prudent manner. Please help us keep our home comfortable and welcoming for every guest by following these guidelines: • Food debris — clean up food messes to avoid attracting critters. • Dishes — should be washed and can be left clean in the dish rack or in the dishwasher to dry. • Respect our cleaners — do not leave any “bodily eruption messes” (vomit, blood, urine, feces, etc.) • ALL Furniture, Equipment, Housewares — return items back to their original places. • Bath Linens — place all used bath linens in the laundry baskets provided. • Bed Linens — our team will take care of stripping beds and wash the laundry. • Trash —all garbage should be placed in the service bin at the road; do not any leave personal trash inside or outside the home. • Toys & Games — make sure all toys and game pieces are put away neatly where they belong. The only negative I have is that the unit above ours was also being used and the ceilings are very thin so we constantly heard them moving about when they were there. It has everything we needed for a short getaway. We didn't realize the location was right on the road and across from the lake, but it still seemed private and quiet. The property manager was super-quick to respond to any questions. Check-in was simple and check-out procedures weren't overly complicated like some rentals seem to require. Comfortable bed and nice full bath with luxury towels. There is even a washer/dryer on site. Owners are very friendly and responsive! Clean as a hospital lots of streaming tv great heat so cozy we were in no hurry to leave to ski! Did a VRBO search and this came up with a rate that looked too good to be true. We booked back in November and had an easy ti.e communicating with Cheri. Two days prior to the trip she reached out with a combination fpr.the door.locjs and her cell number if we needed anything. The unit was spotless and there were plenty of blankets pillow and towels. Cheri even made checking out so easy that I felt bad leaving the towels just in the hampers. While visiting Cheri was available to answer any questions and provided additional units she manages for the future trips when the whole gang is able to join. Only an hour to the best waterfall and shorter to several of the lakes around. Only had an issue getting comfortable on the beds since I have back problems.
