« Overall the stay was great! It was close to everything in Canal Park, easy to get in and out of the building. Parking is confusing if you have never been there before. We missed out on the included parking space with the stay. However, the lot you have to pay in out back is nice because you never have to worry if there is a place to park. This was a nice choice for our weekend stay! »

« The rooms were spotless when we arrived and the host was proactive with door code details. We appreciated the location along the North Shore because it was very convenient to many parks and locales. We easily made day trips up the Gunflint Trail, Ely, Grand Marais and Two Harbors. If I were to stay along the north shore again, I would definitely look at booking this place. »

« We thought it would be fun to stay right in downtown Ely and this property was exactly that. We walked to great meals at The Boathouse, Insula, and of course Brittons. We had ice cream, snacks, evening drinks and tons of shopping all within easy walking distance. Don't be concerned with downtown noise, this cozy space is well constructed and remarkably quiet. The full kitchen, comfy bed and big bathroom were all very nice.Ely is a one of a kind town with very special people. Our hearts...

« Very prompt communication from host. It smells a bit odd in there. The host says it's from the pilot light in the stove and recommended opening a window. That didn't do much since the window is pointing towards the bedroom. The sink in the bathroom is VERY small. It's barely large enough to wash hands with much less brush teeth or wash face or shave. The internet provided by the host is also pretty fast. The floor is slanted up as you walk further in into the bedroom area. It is not level /...

« Was a perfect location for all our needs, well equipped kitchen, easy parking, easy to find, but the property sign needs to stand out more for the house. Only negative was the view of just the dunes and staring at paddleboards out the window of the master bedroom. Pretty quiet area too »

« This is a really cool place, highly recommend. Spacious, lots of historic character. About three blocks away there is a pedestrian bridge over I-35 that will take you to the lake walk. Caribou Coffee just a block away, which is nice for the morning! I will say that stairs to entrance to the barn in is quite long and steep, so might not be the best for those with mobility challenges. Communication with Jason was easy and friendly. Terrific home base for your Duluth visit! »

« Loved this property and will stay again! Beautiful view and amazing indoor/outdoor hot tub and pool area! Check in was very well organized. If I could suggest anything, it would be to maybe have a central area to offer hot coffee maybe from a local coffee company and some breakfast options. Otherwise, fantastic! Stay here! »
