"Isa was so amazing with communication and helping me set up any needs that I had for my trip. There was a welcome basket with bread and cheese and tea and coffee and water which was so much appreciated. A beautiful setting on their banana farm and close to an amazing restaurant and nice hiking. I love that the property has a bathtub for after a long day of hiking. Outdoor patio and barbecue we're a lovely place to end the day as well. I can't recommend this property more for a quiet place on...

We came so my wife and daughters experience Pico as it was the home of my Avo and Ava who where from Lages do Pico and they get to know there heritage. We will return again for a much longer stay and the people of the Pico are warm and friendly will to assist. The food was spectacular and it brought me back to my childhood growing up in a Azorean Portuguese family in California. Thank you and my Gods Blessings be with all in the Pico."

De andere deur gaat naar keuken, 2de slaapkamer met badkamer ensuite. Dit maakt deze accommodatie ook leuk. Het terras en de tuin is echt geweldig. "Adelina is a wonderful host. She brought fresh fruit and eggs. The home was perfect and walking distance to bakery, grocery, restaurants, and the ferry to Sao Jorge. A perfect home base."

"Ein schönes und gut eingerichtetes Häuschen in einer wunderschönen kleinen Faja an der Südostseite von São Jorge. Auf der Anfahrt gut einkaufen und ein Mietauto sind sehr hilfreich. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Waschmaschine und Trockner vorhanden. Lage sehr gut zum Baden im Meer im Naturschwimmbecken im kleinen Hafen, fußläufig in 3min erreichbar. "We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay, using the house as a base to climb Mt Pico, enjoy a whale watch and a wine tour. The host was very helpful with advice and helped arrange the wine tour and driver. The view out the back is beyond gorgeous and it’s a perfect deck to eat all your meals."

"This house exceeded our expectations in every regard. It is superbly situated, overlooking the town and the sea. It has all the faculties that you could need inside and it also has a very pleasant, shaded, outside space. It is only five minutes walk into the town, where there are a number of bars and cafes and a very good little shop. João kindly gave us a tour of the immediate area when we arrived, this turned out to very useful in finding our way around later on."

"My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. Patricia the host was very accomodating. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! Close to swimming and a fun cafe and an easy walk to the marina and shops. We could even use a washer, which helped. The only challenge was for my friend who has a bad knee, so the entry stairs were hard for her. But would be fine for most people! I would stay...

"We were only on Faial for three days but this house and our host made us wish we had booked a full week. The location is removed from the traffic of town, but close enough to walk into town numerous times per day (if you are up to a modest hill climb). A clean house with a great view of the harbour. Our host Marco was very accommodating as were the owners of the property. We highly recommend this house on Faial."

Myself, my sister, daughter and son in law had plenty of space, 3 separate bedrooms, 3 separate bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen and a store around the corner for supplies. Wonderful outdoor space. Gated property. Communication with Zelda was a breeze. She was very helpful explaining how appliances worked and places to explore. We loved our stay!!!! Thank you!!!"

"The house location was good, the village and the natural pool very nice. *****BUT****** the house was not at all the one described. Only 2 rooms instead of 3 announced ! The third room behind the house was closed and, when we found the key, what a surprise ! A very bad surprise ! It seems to be abandoned for several years. All inside was so wet, moldy and dirty. There were old and used sheets on the bed.... it was awfull ! The ground floor front bedroom's shower was dirty, we had to wash it to...

"Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. We really enjoyed sitting on the covered terrace listening to and watching the birds, lizards and bats and watching sunsets. The acommadation is good with a pleasant lounge, and a basic but satisfactory kitchen. The downstairs bedroom is a bit dark unless you open the door, and would benefit...

"The house is lovely, well appointed and spacious. Walking path was accessible from ocean side and ocean swimming area very close. James was super accommodating and informative. Weather was not swimming weather but sitting poolside with a book and a glass of wine soaking in the evening rays and listening to the ocean waves crashing was most enjoyable."
