"We had a wonderful time at the Spirit Lodge. With family camping at the Town Park, this location was great for us to stay with the baby. Olivia and Evan maintained privacy, but were kind and reaponsive when a small issue came up that needed their attention. Highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay at Lori and Craig’s home in the woods. The house is wonderful and felt like a home from the moment we entered. There was plenty of space for the five of us. The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, the towels plush and cozy. We loved watching and listening to birds on the screened-in porch and eating breakfast and playing games on the big table. Unfortunately, our stay was short but we are hoping to return one day….."

"This house was a dream cabin that gave 14 family members space to spread out and room to gather all together around one table. We were a group of four generations ages 5-85. The cabin has such a cozy esthetic and is spacious and comfortable with incredible views of the Apostle Islands and sunsets. "

"I attended a workshop at the Madeline Island School of the Arts. The school itself had sold out of its rooms on their property so I needed to look for my own accommodations.The Suite Three at La Pointe Lodging was just perfect, only one block from the ferry and a quick 1-1/2 mile drive to the Madeline Island School. The room was bright, clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable. My experience could not have been better."

"What’s a gem! This home is spotless, charming, unique, and welcoming; the description does not do justice for how wonderful the sauna and yoga situation is. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend you consider this place for your next Madeline Island getaway! Look forward to being back very soon. "Gooseberry Cottage is set back in the birch and pine forest on the coast of Madeline Island. It's very peaceful, charming and comfortable. I was there to visit with my best friend from grade school and her significant other and meet other friends and family staying at other cabins on Madeline Island. We buried my parents' ashes in Greenwood Cemetery after a small and convivial service celebrating my mother's life as she died last year. We also walked the beach, visited the cliffs at Big Bay State Park and sent an adventurous group sea kayaking near Cornucopia. It was quite cold at night and we appreciated the cabin's heating! Early June was not yet summer in northern Wisconsin but we loved it!"

"The property was perfect for our young family - the screened in porch allowed for many card games, meals (and a few naps!) within view of Lake Superior. We spent most of our days on the private beach, combing for interesting rocks and daring to go in the water. Dave provided excellent instructions and the house was just as described. "
