"When we arrived to check in at the hotel, there was already a different customer in the room. When we went back to the main lobby, we had to wait in the lobby for over an hour before the staff got us a room. They did not provide updates either. They just asked us to wait. ![Railways and trains play a major role in Japan transportation system and it is something all visitors will remember by when they leave Japan. The entire system is very efficient and in my experience all trains are precise and punctual to the minute.

Rail travel is one of the best in Japan and here in the port area of Kokura is a railway museum which displays some old trains and also provide hands on fun for kids bad adults alike.
