Newly remodeled, and conveniently located, this 600 sq. ft. single story 1 bedroom villa offers ocean views, privacy and comfort set back in a tropical lush garden filled with mango and palm trees. Villa 7 sleeps two adults in one King bed and one adult or two small children on the full size sofa bed in the living room. The King bed can be reconfigured in to two twin beds upon request. Experience an older Hawaiian style charm with a modern twist in this newly remodeled villa that was originally built as a beach bungalow in the 1950's. Villa 7 features an ocean view living room with A/C, high speed wifi, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable king bed, full bathroom with a walk-in shower, ocean view lanai and private gated parking conveniently located next to the villa front door. Well appointed to feel like a second home, this villa is conveniently supplied with all of your travel-related “extra” needs such as an iron and ironing board, tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher soap capsules, beach towels, and a clothes drying rack for wet swimsuits after playing in the ocean across the street. Basics such as bath towels, linens, kitchen rags, a set of travel size shampoo and soap, dish soap, salt, pepper, and olive oil are provided as well. Two communal gas bbq grills and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on property and laundry detergent is provided. 2 beach chairs, 2 boogie boards, 1 beach umbrella and 1 cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach. Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one minute walk from the property front gate. For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sun bathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and whale watching. Also a golfers' paradise with nearby world class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer's markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove. The lanai/pool area is really, really well done. The unit we were in was small-ish but the finishes were great and it was perfect for just a couple. The only complaint was being located next to a busy street. The noise of the traffic was a bit disconcerting at times. But if you think about it, how are you going to have the ocean out your window and be about four blocks from the Paia fish house, grocery store, great shopping, a surf shop and all the good stuff without it being crowded? We loved that it was a small number of villas that shared the pool so it never felt over crowded. The villa was modern and had everything that we needed. Very clean and modern. The room was enough for our needs, and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The location was a plus/minus. Across the street from a public park that was very popular for sunsets but also partyers. Although they never stayed late. Convenient to local restaurants and shops. ##### Mark N. It’s very private and you have everything you need to be comfortable while here. It’s like home away from home. The only thing is I wish it was adults only or couples only. The first half of the trip we stayed at a big resort on the West Side, and while that was nice, we liked this property much better. The property was a nice little Zen oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Kihei. Awesome grounds. The pool was a perfect temperature. Great outdoor seating. The guests are equipped with just about anything you’d need: beach chairs/umbrella, towels, boogie boards, community surf/paddle boards. The location was also great. Immediately to the north is Kalama park for surfing/SUP. Immediately to the south is Charley Young Beach for boogie boarding and lounging. There were tons of restaurants, gift shops, stores, etc. - all within a 5 minute walk. The property manager was readily available via text and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend and would definitely come back. ##### Tom D. The property was well maintained and they were extremely responsive and accommodating. We loved the outdoor common area - so nice and comfortable. That’s where we spent most of our time. The grounds were beautiful and being a small compound you usually had the pool to yourself. The cove across the street was great for playing in the water, and we really appreciated having surf boards and paddle boards available to use. The cove is really shallow for quite a ways out and very rocky so you’ll want something to protect your feet. We didn’t get a rental car so it was great having restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The only downside was the highway noise and quite a bit of loud partying in the surrounding area late at night. If It weren’t for the noise detracting from a peaceful atmosphere I would call this the perfect place. ##### Jen F. The secret Beach we got married on 8 years ago, the manager is happy to show you how to get there. The pool is warm, the property is gated and secure. Everything was great. ##### nick K.
