The kitchen is nicely updated with stainless steel appliances, oversized granite countertops and equipped with just about anything the home chef would need to cook up a gourmet meal. Lavish dining table comfortably seats six for enjoyable mealtimes and game nights.

Beyond the dining area and conveniently located just off the kitchen, you’ll find a beautifully landscaped patio and plenty of space for the entire family to dine al fresco.

Take in stunning ocean views while relaxing in the spacious living area. The chic new furnishings include a plush convertible sofa that allows for additional sleep space for 2. A large flat screen TV is wall mounted for the Netflix fan of the family. Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors open to the ocean view lanai that runs the entire length of the condo, from living area to primary bedroom.

Primary bedroom showcases a plush California King bed with luxurious linens, plenty of closet space and an en suite bath with dual sink vanity and a shower/tub combo. The condo was located just a few minutes away from Ulua Beach, a market and eateries, which was perfect with little kids from a convenience factor. The place was spacious and had all the amenities needed to enjoy Maui. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay here!

Nice condo, restrictive condo complex

The condo is nice and the area is great. Convenient location with shops and a market. The snorkeling is excellent there. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is friendly. The condo is a bit dated, but in good shape apart from some stained carpet. The condo complex however is not very welcoming to renters. Twice during our one week stay the ocean front pool and pavilion were closed to renters. I read about this in another review which prompted me to inquire with the Wilea Elua Village management. They stated that renters have access to the pool, but there is a hidden work around that they have devised to keep renters out of the pool at their discretion. They call the closures “annual owners meetings/events”, and then assign a random title to each event to make it sound like it’s not a routine closure. But, there were two “annual” closures during our stay. This is clearly an internal effort to exclude renters from parts of the amenities that you are paying for. Had the management been transparent about amenities closures I would not be upset. However, I was not given this info when I inquired specifically about it. They do this, obviously, because they don’t want to deter renters, yet they also don’t seem to want renters there. Also, the pool has enforced quiet hours from 4pm to 6pm everyday. If you are a retiree and don’t like kids, you would enjoy this. But if you are a family who spends the day on the beach and then likes to cool off at the pool afterwards, then Wilea Elua is not for you. So, to summarize, this is a nice property in an excellent location, but the owners/management are averse to renters and not forthcoming about planned closures, and I would therefore consider other options in the Wilea area before renting at Wilea Elua. The (much larger) condo complex slightly north of Wilea Elua is called Wilea Ekahi… it is nice, has more pools, and far less restrictions.

Great condo for our family vacation

Great spot in Wailea for our family vacation. Space was perfect for our needs. Family of three with space for outdoor breakfast on the lanai, playtime in the living room and ample space in bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, appliances for making breakfast and lunches and afternoon smoothie/cocktails. Loved the pool and beach proximity and the beach path. Definitely would come back.

The code for the keyless lock was wrong when we arrived. The rep was quick to respond but it was disconcerting. Also before the end of our stay, the front door lock malfunctioned. Not sure if we called it in. For the last couple of nights our guests went through the sliding glass doors on the Lanai. Otherwise the the property was what we needed.

This is a great property at the back of Wailea Elua. The back patio was a wonderful addition for an Easter egg hunt and “secret” entrance. Also allowed for easy access to the sidewalk to access the shops of Wailea etc.... We also did not have much foot traffic near the condo which we appreciated being near the back of the resort. The beach front pool was great but realize that 1 of the pools is for owners only and we did not have access. There are some interesting rules for the resort (no frisbee/ball) that we were unaware of until told by a homeowner. The unit itself was well stocked, clean, and there were some nice touches like a bag of coffee, plenty of nice beach towels, beach chairs and toys, and a full container of laundry detergent etc... We would stay here again!

Very nice stay, the accommodations were fit for a family. Nice size kitchen. 2patios and good yard in the back with lush landscaping. The balcony honestly was one of the best features, it overlooked the community. The villa was a corner unit which yielded great privacy. Located around many shops. The beach and pool were good as well. The only draw back was the lack of cleaning tools. A vacuum would have come in handy being that there’s carpet in the bedrooms and I have 2 children. But no other Major issues.
