"The Wyndham Grand Clearwater is a beautiful, very clean hotel in a great location. Our room was spotless, and the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. The lounge chairs and umbrellas included with the resort fee were a wonderful perk. We also upgraded to a cabana, and for the small additional cost, it was absolutely worth it. Most of the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. The only downside was that the front desk staff occasionally seemed less welcoming or interested in assisting guests. Be aware that a 19% service charge is automatically added at the restaurants, pool bar, and breakfast buffet. We did not find the breakfast buffet worth the $35+ per person cost, especially with the added service charge. Fortunately, there are plenty of excellent breakfast spots within walking distance. A special thanks to our pool bar server for recommending The Bait House. The Drunken Shrimp was delicious, and the restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. Located right on the marina, it offers great service, beautiful views, and a fun outdoor atmosphere. Also note that valet parking is the only parking option available. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, location, beach amenities, and comfortable accommodations."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the room, the view of the water from our room and the cleanliness of the property. The staff were ALL very nice, helpful and welcoming. We only stayed one night but wished for more time! It is an older property, with one elevator and ice machine, but I would stay there again."

"Pretty hotel with nice staff - in particular the parking valets. Pool was in the shade most of the day and the hot tub was closed due to private events being held near it. Room was spacious and comfortable. Didn’t love the beach set up. You have to rent chairs which was discounted which I appreciate but the beach was wall-to-wall cabanas making it difficult to navigate around and blocked the views of the water."

"I love the beach access and we had a nice view to see the water from our room. I also like how the hotel room keys were made as wristbands instead of the typical card. The only thing I didn’t like is there wasn’t a microwave in the room."
