A Low Tide at The Truman Annex in Key West

A Low Tide is a charming first floor end unit in the Shipyard Condominiums in the award winning gated community of the Truman Annex. | Featuring two bedrooms, one with an adjustable king bed and the other with twin beds that can also be made into a king. In addition there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This property has recently been refreshed featuring new appliances, tvs, bedding, etc.! | It is is located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all of the Old Town Key West attractions and includes off street parking for one vehicle. | Enjoy both the front and back rear deck has outdoor dining and lounging all year long. | The refreshing community pool is just steps from the back deck!
Please note: This property will require a minimum of a 28 night stay.

Parking is available, which is a huge plus as parking is hard to come by in Key West. Only thing that was a little off was the floors would turn your feet black within minutes of walking around with no shoes. Other than that everything was great! We will be looking to stay here again when we return to Key West

Up stairs people where horrible woke us up early every morning we got to stay.We only got to stay 3 nights out of 7 cause got called back home for a family emergency.They would not give us any of our money back or a credit for another time.

We usually stay in the Truman Annex,but there was just the two of us. Pleasant deck.The quarters were cramped for way would 4 people be comfortable in this unit! Storage is a big problem! The shower in the bathtub needs a grab bar to help seniors like us. Someone is going to fall!!

Quiet & Relaxing!

This year was our least favorite unit as I had to vacuum and clean up water bottles under the bed upon arrival. The bed sits high so you can see everything and I'm allergic to dust. The unit was a lot smaller than what the pictures showed. Could only fit 1 person in the kitchen at a time. On a good note the unit was beautiful, just smaller than other units I've stayed at. Young children were in the next door unit who woke up early and ran around. No biggy as kids should be kids and all should be understanding but it would have been nice to sleep in on vacation. I will not stay at this unit again but will definitely be back at the Truman next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was smaller than other 2 bedroom/2 bath unit we had rented in Shipyard. It was difficult to regulate the temperature inside the unit the week we were there. There was a noise inside the wall between the entry way and the bedroom which we think had to do with the unit upstairs and their use of water. The people upstairs left on Tuesday and the noise went away. However, we were able to overcome these issues and enjoyed our stay in Key West. Please let your mayor know that the mandated mask wearing and New Year's curfew were uncalled for and made our stay less pleasurable. We have decided not to return next year unless these restrictions are removed.

All of the condos are small, but with everything one needs. It is close to a pool, parking, and most importantly to the state park with a great beach, umbrellas, concessions and chairs. The condo is within walking distance to Duval Street, Hemingway’s house and incredible restaurants.

Reviewer Comments: Overall our experience was fine, we were vacationing in Key West for the Thanksgiving holiday, the weather was perfect & the property was clean & well kept. This was our 1st experience with a rental property as opposed to a hotel so my following comments may be based on our ignorance. The property had key code locks on the front & rear doors which did not work. We notified the mgmt company who said they’d send someone out, but they never did. We were there for a week. We also ran out of toilet paper & were told we needed to go to the store and buy our own. Lots of rules about stuff we’re supposed to do under penalty of fines while I’m paying to be on vacation. So a new experience compared to resort/hotel.

This is the first time we rented a condo and it was very comfortable with a great location. The only issue I could comment on is that the pool is way to small for the amount of people in the condo complex. Compass realty was great to work with and take good care of their clients.

My only complaint is how late the check-in is and the lack of communication during my stay. Great Stay in Key West

I just spent a week in this property in Key West and loved every minute of it. The place has everything you need and a lovely backyard to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. It is a less than 5 minute walk to the pool. The location is fantastic. You can walk anywhere and get to Duval Street in 5 minutes and at night you are away from the noise of Duval. I highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

Great rental

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is in an amazing location that is walking distance to shops, restaurants, the beach, a park and a fun spray park; which we loved going to. There was also a nice Farmer's Market Thursday evening along the Waterfront that we enjoyed going to. This property had everything we needed and we enjoyed the outdoor space and the community it was in. We would definitely recommend this property!

Key West Vaca at "A Low Tide"

WE had a great time. The place was in a great location. Close enough to everything including the beach. The place had beach chairs, a cooler and bungee cords which was key for our trips to the beach in our gold cart. The pool was just OK. We're not really a fan of small pools and screaming kids. We would definitely book here again. The only thing we would suggest was listing the fact that there were chairs, cooler, Keurig, etc. so that you knew ahead of time what was included.

Great location

Here is a detailed description of the property. Very clean and well maintained. We could not figure out the sleep number bed remote, but it was not a big deal as the bed was comfortable. I did not feel the need to contact management about the remote. Kitchen and bath are small and cannot accommodate more than one person at once. It was not a big deal for a couple. I slept in the twin bedroom and my hsuband in the king bed. We were both comfortable. The overhead lights in the bedrooms have fans in them, so that was why we slept in different rooms. I like a fan blowing; he does not. The condo is an end unit, so it was not noisy. We could hear footsteps above us, but it was not loud at all. The condo was close to the pool which was nice. The patio are is nice and has a private feel to it. The grill is electric, and we only used it once because it is missing a drip pan. We improvised with an item from the condo. It is short on storage items like tupperware, so if you are going to cook at home, you may want to buy plastic bags or cheap storage containers for leftovers. Overall a 5-star stay and would recommend.
