This upper level Luana Villa is a beautiful resort home with rare partial ocean views and located steps from Kaanapali Beach within renowned Honua Kai Resort & Spa. Luana Garden Villas is the final phase of Honua Kai Resort & Spa, located on the stunning Kaanapali Beach on Maui’s western shores, and steps from everything west Maui has to offer. This luxurious villa is located within the 38 family-friendly acres of the Honua Kai Resort & Spa, designed with relaxation and memory-making in mind, offering guests an unmatched resort experience while proving residential living at its finest. This villa boasts over 2000 sq.ft of contemporary interior living space with expansive western windows that open up to a wide lanai, providing your family with plenty of room to enjoy the Maui lifestyle. Spend your days at your enclave’s private pool and hot-tub located amongst the luxurious Hawaiian gardens or take a very short stroll to the world famous Kaanapali beach, or aquatic playgrounds of the Honua Kai resort. Experience world class dining, shopping and golf within minutes leaving your villa by visiting Whaler’s village and the Kaanapali and Kapalua golf courses. This top floor villa will provide you with the privacy to relax in your lanai while enjoying the views of your garden enclave and partial ocean views. The residence is fully furnished with everything you need for a luxurious Maui vacation and a gourmet kitchen to prepare your favorite family meals. The Lanai is equipped with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ and plenty of lounging and dining space for the entire family. The residence also includes a private garage and an ensuite full size washer and dryer. We have added an additional ceiling fan in the living room, and a gate above the stairs in the lanai. Resort amenities include a network of swimming pools, waterfalls and children’s shallow pool, 24 hour fitness facility, Duke’s beach house restaurant, and Whaler’s general store and Spa. Please note due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, resort amenities may be subject to change or closure. TAX The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962% to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation. (Subject to change); Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease. OCCUPANCY: Additional Guests of any age (infants and toddlers included) are strictly prohibited without prior approval. We had access to all of the resort amenities and also had our own private pool in the enclave. Each bedroom had comfortable king-size beds and wonderful bathrooms. My husband and I are early risers so we enjoyed having our own private patio to enjoy our morning coffee and view and not bother the rest of our family! Perfect location on the kaanapali side of Maui. 11 min. drive to Front street and the resort is better than just OK - fabulous. Clean, neat, felt like we were the 1st to stay in this villa! Perfect spot with three bedrooms / 3 full baths / kitchen / great patio / BBQ area on the patio / garage with 6 beach chairs, umbrella's, and everything we needed for a short walk to the beach. I'd recommend bringing some swim shoes. 4 of the 6 of us caught a few rocks that needed a bandaid after swimming out in front of the resort. Happens quick and while didn't require any serious medical attention - still a pair of water shoes for the beach in highly recommended. Great to have a keyless wristband that gets you in and out of the villa / beach or pool towels, enjoyed having laundry facilities in the villa as i don't think any of us brought home many dirty clothes. Villa 1D was exceptional - so nice to pull right up to your door and have a place to park the rental car. Honestly, great place to call home for a stay on maui! Fabulous! ##### Paul T. The layout of the unit is great. The finishes are really, really nice. The appliances are top notch, especially the bbq and the oven. Everything is there for ya. The location is good. Slaughterhouse Beach, just up the road, is an absolute gem, and not crowded. The only negative was the COVID nonsense at check in. Why does the hotel need to see everyone's COVID test results? We had to show those to even get on the flight to Maui to begin with. Get off it already. But the property itself is just as advertised. If anything, even better. ##### Pete G. Our family came together, post covid, to celebrate our twins graduation from college and a milestone bday formy husband. We travel a lot and I’m also a professional property manager so I have really high standards!! Villa was huge and very well appointed. Everything we needed was there. Fabulous location right next to Dukes where we dined twice. Really loved the patio and outside seating and entertaining area. Separate AC zones for bedrooms were greatly appreciated. Within walking distance to the pools, beach, grocery, and restaurants. Short drive to Whalers Village and Lahaina. Property was new, clean and well stocked!
