The property's prime location just two miles from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park provides easy access to all the area's top attractions. Accessible via easily drivable dirt roads, GHO is the perfect oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation whether you're stargazing, catching a sunrise, or simply soaking in the beauty of a golden hour sunset. THE HOME Inside the main house, you'll find two private bedrooms, a recreation room (can serve as a third bedroom), two full bathrooms, dining and living areas, office spaces, and a well-equipped kitchen. The house includes four beds: a king bed in the primary bedroom, a full bed in the guest suite bedroom, and two twin beds in the recreation room. Additional sleeping options include air mattresses and comfortable couches. The attached guest suite boasts its own private entrance, bathroom, living room, 43” Samsung smart TV, and kitchenette. Our main living room features stylish mid-century furniture and a state-of-the-art home theater system with a short-throw laser projector, Sonos Bluetooth speakers, a mini Nintendo gaming system, and an Apple TV loaded with various streaming services. The house is equipped with a Nest-controlled central heating/cooling system and two additional wall-mounted mini-split units for optimal temperature control. Enjoy customizable lighting throughout the house with color-controllable Hue Smart Bulbs and Wi-Fi dimmer remote switches. We offer high-speed Spectrum Wi-Fi (350 Mbps) and excellent cell reception. THE PROPERTY Step outside and immerse yourself in our stunning private garden, home to diverse plant species and wildlife. Relax in the four-person spa or gather around the propane fire pit. Prepare a delightful meal on the gas grill and savor it at the spacious dining table on the back porch. THE NEIGHBORHOOD Since moving to Joshua Tree in 2020, I have become an expert on all that the Hi-Desert has to offer and look forward to sharing my expertise with you. Our neighborhood in particular is ideally located for those looking to explore both the Joshua Tree National Park or the local restaurants, shops, markets, parks, art galleries, yoga studios, bars, tennis courts, coffee shops and more the area has to offer (1-2 miles to the park and many of the best attractions). The amenities, the location and the overall appearance of the house and gardens were given high marks by everyone in our party. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids, ages 13, 11 and 6) stayed at the Golden Hour Oasis for 6 days and had the best time. We spent the majority of our time hiking around Joshua Tree National Park, relaxing in the backyard oasis at the house, and swimming in the pool and hot tub. We explored the town and shops of Joshua Tree, and visited the farmers market.One day we visited/hiked at Indian Canyon near Palm Springs. The house had plenty of space for all of us to sleep and comfortable beds! There was anything we could need on hand. We really enjoyed the vibe of the decor and lighting. We were able to watch a couple movies on the streaming service as well. Sean was great at replying quickly with any information about the area or questions we had about the house!
