« it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. »

« The Casselman River Loft was very well decorated, had a great view of the river and was centrally located to the town. The layout of the loft was very well suited for two couples or a family with children. The beds and sofas were extremely comfortable. We were visiting for a wedding and saw some of the other accommodations and ours was far superior. If visiting Confluence, I would highly recommend the Casselman River Loft. »

« We had a great stay for our hiking trip. Loved to be able to just walk to many hiking trails and to dinner. Coffee maker wasn’t working but thankfully had a great coffee shop just down the block! Everything was comfortable for two people, maybe one more would be okay for the shared living space but that’s probably the most I would have. Happy with cleanliness! And bottled water provided in fridge was nice. »

« Well, it is a small place right on the trail. No front desk but the connected grocery store was very helpful. Check in was a breeze, although leaving my bike in the lobby made me nervous. Thankfully a helpful staff person assured me it would be ok and it was! While the store doesn't sell beer, they pointed me to a little restaurant bar two blocks away and James the bartender was the best. Good burger, fries, and cold beer! Bed was comfy, ac worked great and the Roku TV worked. Oh and the little...

« This was the second time my husband and I stayed at Trailside Hotel, and unfortunately this was a drastically different experience than the first. Upon arrival, the door to our room (room 101) was left opened which we thought was odd. After being in the room with the door closed for a while, we noticed a musty smell starting to fill the room. Each time we would leave the room and come back, the smell would be even stronger and it began to smell like a sweaty gym sock. We thought of all...

« Room was clean, as expected, and was wonderfully convenient. Small store below for essentials you may need. Ate at the restaurant below, food was very good, albeit a bit pricey. Found a bit cheaper place about 100 steps away. Would totally stay here again. »

"Je n'attendais pas grand chose de cet établissement à part un lieu simple et propre pour faire étape. J'ai découvert une chambre au charme désuet (passons), à la moquette crasseuse et baignée par une forte odeur de renfermé et tabac froid. La climatisation était assourdissante et il a fallu l'éteindre pour fermer l'oeil. Mais le comble fut de découvrir après une mauvaise nuit que j'avais été piquée par des punaises de lit, avec une belle allergie en prime. La médiocrité du petit-déjeuner est-elle pertinente à relever ? Un conseil, passez votre chemin !"
