X/night, on arrival we told there is no air conditioning in the allocated room, only a small fan (on a day the temp was 37 degree C). I made a request for A/C & they charged additional Rs. X again (2Xs) for a Maharaja Suit. While there was A/c, it was very ineffective & the suit was a dump, in need for major reno & deco (door timber split, ceiling with stains & bath marble piece with rust & elegy. Also real rip offs selling desert activities (big thieves). Future guests make alternate arrangements, do not depend on this resort. The staff are friendly and professional. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is: 1\. Food service was very slow at all times of day, including the hotel restaurant. It was so delayed that we avoided returning to the hotel for lunch between tours because we knew it would take too long. 2\. Salon scheduling and flexibility were disappointing. My mom, my friend, and I booked three hair wash and blow-dry appointments at the same time before dinner, but when we arrived, we were told only two stylists were available, so one of us had to wait. We wish this had been communicated in advance since we had plans. I offered to just have my hair washed (since I’d already showered) and blow-dry it myself in the room so my mom and friend could start, but they refused because the service is only offered as a combo. I ended up having to shower again to wash my hair, which was inconvenient and felt inflexible on their part. Everything else was lovely. They had live music every day, and the artists were wonderful and very kind.
