Close to Mayo- excellent place to recover
This home is an excellent accommodation near Mayo Clinic to recover after surgery. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. My caregiver and I were able to move around without stairs or steps impeding my path. The master bath has both a walk-in bathtub and a large shower with grab bars to safely get cleaned up. The water closet has multiple sets of grab bars for safe toileting. In the living room, the couch and chair have automatic recliners- so there’s no need to engage your core muscles if you’ve had abdominal surgery, but you can still elevate your feet or lower your head. The back porch overlooks a lovely pond that kept us very entertained with the wildlife. We loved watching the ducks, geese, cranes, and turtles each day. The waterfowl often walk around the back yard in between swims and catching fish. The host was very polite and responsive to our requests. We would happily stay with this host again at this location.
