The location whilst being remote is extremely peaceful and within easy reach of Tarbert for supplies and the ferry. »

« Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

« Lovely wee property in a great location for exploring Harris and all it has to offer. Spacious enough for the teenager and the pre-teen to be separated and mum and dad to have some space to chill out! Lovely wee beach just at the end of the road and the host also manage to provide lovely sunny weather for us! »

« Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot. Slept like logs, all of us.
