Westcliff Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay at Westcliff Lodge in Hood River. The location is great although it is on an access road next to a busy highway so rooms at the front of the property tend to hear the road noise. Our room was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel grounds are so beautiful and it was nice to sit along the river and relax with a glass on wine (wine glasses and a corkscrew are conveniently provided in the room!). There is a coffee maker in the rooms but the office also has coffee and an assortment of tea available. Highly recommend!"

Carson Hot Springs Resort

8/10 Good

"This is a good place to stay. What keeps it from being great is it could use some updating- beds were just okay, soaking rooms could use a deep clean and dusting. Lack of food at the resort is other reason. Pros are the large hot tub with cold plunge (a cracked window would be great because it’s pretty humid in room). The area is so beautiful too- lots of outdoor hiking available nearby."

Motel 6 The Dalles, OR

10/10 Excellent

"This is a motel six ok? So im rating it against other motels in that price point. Its cheap. It's close to a lot of food and shopping and gas. I was checked in quickly and told that the fromt was staffed 24/7 if I needed ANYTHING. The vending and ice machines looked ckean- fully stocked and functioning and we're all easy to find and use. The property looks well maintained. No serious issues tbat I spotted. It is an older property. Expect an older property. There seemed to always be people in the parking lot? No one bothered us, and we couldn't hear it inside of our room"

Holiday Inn Express & Suites The Dalles by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Nice comfy room, clean and in great condition. Floors are well padded and carpeted. Very organized and efficient hotel staff, especially the cleaning staff!! Coffee, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and eggs all really good! Not thrilled with check-in process. Just 2 in front of me and it just took too long. Seems she could have called for backup help?? Just rubbed me the wrong way and staff at check in really lacked personal friendliness, which would have been greatly appreciated after that long drive getting there."
