« The room was super clean and the restaurant on the premise was awesome! The dogs were welcomed and it was in a great location to hikes in Salida! Will definitely stay again »

« The cost for this room is as stated. No frills - bathroom was not very clean - both shower and toilet didn’t look as if a scrub brush was ever used, toilet ran excessively, which is so wasteful. Hard to clean or rinse the coffee pot without possibly breaking it - single cup Keurig would work fine instead of an outdated and horribly stopped up water reservoir »

« A very different and interesting location with incredible views in piñon and juniper forests. The owner provided great information on the solar and other systems. Because several days were cloudy we did use the on site generator to be sure we had adequate battery power. We would definitely stay again…it’s all about place which was fantastic especially when the sun came out and we saw new snow on the Sangre de Cristos!! »

« Appreciated the pet friendly environment. Host very responsive to additional needs. Nice quiet location along the river. Unit was dated but clean and functional. »

« Bed not turned correctly. Mattrrss top hard »

« We stayed for 6 nights. Straightforward and easy check in and check out. Location was great. Matt was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend »

« Exactly as advertised. No complaints! Loved hearing the river! »

« This property is NOT as advertised. It is basically an abandoned motel with gravel areas that RVs could park at. Dirty room, stained bedding, beds missing sheets, not adequate towels, amenities not provided that were listed as being there, no people anywhere. Pictures online must have been taken years ago. Rundown, no small store, no water nearby of any sort… »

« A lodge that shows its age but room was clean, the water and cooling worked well, refrigerator and microwave worked well, and beds were super comfortable. Slept great. To the north Salida is about 11 miles. South are a couple other food locations, i.e. Dusty's Roadhouse. »

« Not clean,not nice.Too expensive. Watch your belongins. »

« Still our favorite place to stay in Salida! Our greeter, Kathy was a wonderful person, kind, helpful and felt like family. She should be well paid, but kept in this personable position as she’s excellent! »

« Good solid spot to stop for a night. On a busy road and not a super walkable area. The outside doors didn't work properly and the wait to check in was absurdly long, one staff working a busy desk, not his fault at all. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again. »

« Une apparence de modernité mais beaucoup de choses mériterait un rafraîchissement (tâches au mur, rideaux troués, abats jour sales, grilles d’aération moisies etc…) Ventilation extrêmement bruyante »

« Parfait pour une nuit … propre et wi-fi 👍 »

« The hot tub was in working order (unlike at many properties claiming hot tubs). I appreciated a small night light in the bath. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's unprepossessing, but it works and is comfortable. »
