"We did a late check in and were very tired…upon arrival, there were two huge groups checking in and the whole hotel was stinking of bad odour of food including the elevators..some private event catering was happening…when we got to the room we realized it had a door to cross to the next room and we were not told that the room had a partition when I booked. We could hear all the noises from the next room so we asked to change it and they could only give us a room with two twin beds instead of the room we booked with sofa bed…was very uncomfortable stay…it also doesn’t meet holiday inn standard for breakfast….no hot food other than boiled eggs…no scrambled eggs nothing…I do not recommend at all!!! Strictly avoid ! Also keep in mind that they have no air conditioning in the rooms just a basic fan provided."

"The air conditioning not working. In room feeling hot, so we have to open the window sometime. When we eat something after, we bin the bag or beer tins will come up more ant. Even room service cleaned the room after, they are still walking around the garbage can."

"The staff was wonderful!! They were very accommodating with our check-in and check-out changes. We were allowed to store our bags before check in. The breakfast was delicious! Beds were comfortable and clean. Quite room and area. Mall is a short walk. Lots of convenients there. "

"This hotel is right in front of the bus stop which made it incredibly easy to get public transportation. It’s about 20 minutes to Lucerne. Very clean and comfortable bed. Only thing I would have liked would be for them to have better pillows and a long mirror. "

"We stayed two night in hotel overall. when we went first time there was no one at reception we saw note for self check. in we start doing it and system wasnt taking our canadia no we tried with swzerland and candian no then lady walk in after 10 min and she started staring at us no hello or hi we keep trying online then after few mint she asking what we need then we explain we are trying to check in and system is not taking our both contact that we tried then she said she can do, she wanted us to do online secheck-in only that was our first day check in experincing and she dont speak english at all we left hotel after one night it was nt bad second thing there was no air -conditioner in room and we kept the window open and it was very noisy after that and next morning we left the hotel And we booked the hotel 2 night again online as were getting it cheaper then first day and it was close to airport too and we went 9:30pm to check in as reception close at 10pm and lady was keep saying to us why we didnt do the self check as we had issues earlier so didnt tried and she was upset about it and she told us she is off at 10pm we should do check in online as she has other imp things to do then we explained her we are having a issues for self checking yesterday and she started changing the garbage left us strugling for elf checkin online and also she said she cant do check in in person as the tap machine is not working she can take cash only and we had no cash and luckly it worked"

"The hotel was spotless. Staff was very helpful. Excellent restaurant and bar. If you are a car enthusiast you definitely need to stay here the owner has an incredible collection of vintage sports cars and some modern cars the hotel is basically a car museum, also in the basement of the hotel there is a small version of Ripley's aquarium stunning examples of native freshwater fish and huge tanks quite an interesting walk through. Our room also had a beautiful outdoor terrace and view of the town."

"Staff was great, the room was clean but outdated. The hotel felt "tired" as if it used to be great but corners were cut to save money. For a hotel in such a beautiful location, it felt unremarkable. Nothing wrong but so much lost potential."
