As an old building no soundproofing so we still could hear people talking, I could quite understand. Lovely art deco building surrounding with beautiful trees. I could hear Cookobura and others bird singing. Walking distance to lake Sambell and the town. Asylum just nearby if interested joining a ghost tour. We have heater in the room." On the Mayday Hills grounds so nice and quiet at night. Rang ahead to check on the bbq and it was ready for us during the stay. The walk back from town is uphill but very manageable. Would recommend."
