"I booked the hotel because there is a roof top terrace to see the West Lake. But in fact, the roof top terrace is closed all the time. I was disappointed. But the staff was nice. The room is a bit outdated but clean. "

The front rooms have large windows with lateral view of the lake promenade (ask for a room on the left wing for more scenic views). This was a last minute work & leisure trip with not much preparation. All the staff was very attentive and helpful but concierge Tim stood out, suggesting and booking tours and entertainment to fit my schedule. "
