"I make it a habit of "not" staying @ Motel 6. They're usually run down, and with a bad element staying there. That's the reason why they're so cheap. But this was one of the "cleanest" and definitely most recently renovated Motel 6 I ever stayed in. It was well worth the price, given the cost of other hotels in Santa Maria. "

"Great location, stairs (lots of stairs) to the beach, rooms spacious and clean. The only issue we had was parking, we had two cars and they only allow one parking pass per room. We had to find space four blocks away to leave one car. It was residential, but not the best situation to have women walking late at night to their cars."

"This is an older property. The great thing is you do get some larger rooms/bathroom. Could use some updating but then you would be paying a higher rate because the location is great! Everything is within walking distance. Stay during the week to get the lower rates as everything goes up for weekend rates. Definitely would stay here again. When AC was out on the first room, they addressed the issue right away and moved us to a new room. So some rooms need maintenance, but again, the price and location are great."
