"Stayed at the property for a weekend of baseball. Easy walk to Comerica Park. Grocery store/bakery next door. Good restaurants and night life around the stadium area. Staff was helpful."

"We like staying here when coming to Detroit because it’s in Greektown and a short walk to all this Sporting events. I think it is a bit overpriced, but there is free Valley parking. The rooms were definitely clean but standard and I prefer carpet over bare flooring. We could hear people in the hallway and a party either above or below us. The staff were great! Since I don’t gamble, I can’t speak about the casino other than it was smoky and I had to leave."

"The room was great as well as the location. Parking on site was great. We were able to take the free Q Line to downtown/Tigers game. Disappointed that there was no Continental breakfast during the week and only pastries on the weekend. Being gluten intolerant, I wish they would have yogurt or oatmeal or even juice. Also, no refrigerator in room but shared refrigerator available in main building as well as ice."

"The house is a DREAM house with an amazing host - Butler. It was clean, has wonderful amenities, in a great location, very quiet, and SAFE. We were 10 minutes from downtown Detroit but you would never know it. The neighborhood / street is tree lined, quiet, and beautiful. You have very convenient access to the major highways (10 & 75). The house itself is very cool inside. This is a national landmark and must have been an automotive executive home with all of the details & luxury items. If you have a large group, this home would be a perfect landing spot. We would rent again in a heartbeat if we needed a place like this again in Detroit. Lastly, the host, Butler couldn’t be lovelier. His communication was fantastic and he was very accommodating."

"The house was clean, organized, and set up as described in the listing. Easy check-in / check-out process and communicative host. We had two cars between 4 guests but there was ample free parking on the street or in the driveway next to the property. The front porch, a great addition that was not listed, was a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy the weather in the mornings and at night. I would definitely stay again on a return visit to Detroit."

"This was a perfect house for our grown kids and grandkids to get together with us for a fun weekend in Detroit. Close to charter fishing, the Detroit Zoo, and Comerica Park. The neighborhood looks a bit rough but the neighbors were pleasant and we felt safe. The living room and dining room were very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 9. Central air on the main floor and window units in the top 2 levels kept us very comfortable. This house was exceptionally clean and well supplied with keurig cups, paper towel, body wash, and plenty of toilet paper. Comfortable beds and nice linens."
