The first thing I noticed was how filthy the rugs are in the halls. Filthy!!!!! The rooms are clean but nasty rugs also. This hotel obviously has a high volume of people going through it. The restaurant bar does a big business. The people who work there are very nice. But when I went out the back door past the kitchen, it also struck me as dirty. I immediately told myself that I wouldn't eat anything coming out of that kitchen. All the same it is a very popular spot but you go through the restaurant with your bags to check in. That is awkward. It is an old building. I think if they got rid of the old, dingy carpets everywhere (rooms included) it would be much more palatable to stay there.
Room furniture is also a bit worn out.

"We loved our harbor view room. We also appreciated the free self parking. Bathroom toilet wasn’t flushed when we arrived.
