Summary: Welcome to Sasquatch Lodges! Experience the perfect mountain cabin getaway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This child-friendly cabin is ideally located in the heart of the Art District, offering easy access to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Enjoy comfortable accommodations and a prime location for exploring nearby attractions. The Space: This is one unit in a duplex in the center of the art district in Gatlinburg. This two story unit has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and a sleeper sofa in the living room (sleeps 2), and a sleeper sofa in the media room along with two trundles in the media room as well (sleeps 4). So - the unit can sleep a total of 12 people in beds! There are 3 large decks attached to each room that look over the Great Smoky Mountains. The master bedroom has its own deck, the living room has a deck, and the two bedrooms and the media room downstairs are all attached to a large deck. There are two off-street parking spaces, and a third space can be reserved for an additional vehicle fee per night by the Property Manager if made within 24 hours in advance. Guest Access: Key-less front door entry. We provide the following starter set of supplies for each reservation. The Neighborhood: Pool and Recreation: There is a public pool located just 3 minutes from the property (less than a mile away) at the Gatlinburg Community Center. The house is just as pictured in the photos. The property is in a great location and just a short drive or trolley ride into downtown Gatlinburg. The trolly is free to ride ( I would recommend giving them a tip) they are great ! You meet the trolley and the community center for pick up and drop off. You are also on the blue route if you decide to ride the trolly. The community pool has an olympic size pool. You do have to pay a small fee. It was $11 for three adults and one child. Not so much for our adult family with one person in a wheelchair. While other cabins like this one were available, none of them were “truly” handicapped accessible as we had to lift the wheelchair into and out of the house. Far enough away from the craziness of downtown but less than a 10 minute drive into downtown Gatlinburg. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Disclaimer: the walls are thin so if you’re a light sleeper, you may hear the conversation going on next door.
