My wife, three children, and grandma and grandpa loved the house and the location. It was cozy with all of us, but I think having the covered deck to sit out on gives the house a very roomy feel. The location was amazing for the kids - walk out the door and you’re on the beach! We spent 90% of our trip at the beach and the house. I really enjoyed my morning coffee on the front deck watching the sun come up. What a view. The house is well stocked for cooking and fun. Some beach chairs, umbrella, and a toy chest for the kids. We had a day of zero wind so the love bugs showed up all over but they don’t bite or anything, it’s just a weird sight (just putting that in here in case people are as confused as I was about them). In lieu of offering an actual solution, owner suggested rubbing honey or using a warm spoon on ant bites and said we should try harder not the track them in from outside... The 3BD/2BA was nice and comfortable for the four of us. Its condition could use some work tho - the washer/dryer didn’t work, there’s a ceiling panel on the porch that is falling, and there is peeling wallpaper and paint inside ##### Sven L. We stayed there October 13-17 and had a wonderful time. The location is awesome and the house is clean. There are some basic maintenance type things (painting, etc) that could be done and the sofa needs to be replaced but I read that it was already in the works. We barely explored the island -- we've been many times -- because the location was so perfect and the house provided all the comforts. We would have appreciated fluffier pillows and fresher calk around the 2nd bathroom floor, but such things were minor in light of the perfect location, the comfy bed and the the well-equipped kitchen.
