We stayed here last year and were very impressed with everything it had to offer. So much so that we booked another fortnight this year. It was a relief to discover that the facilities and service were just as good. We found it the perfect place to chill out around the pool, there were always plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas for shade.
The free beach towels meant we did not have to take our own and these could be changed on a daily basis. The staff were always polite, helpful and there were enough of them so you were never waiting long for what you needed.
We would recommend B&B (the breakfast choice is amazing with eggs, omelettes, pancakes and crepes cooked fresh to order) as there are many good restaruants and bars in the town - bit of a hike (15-20mins stroll) but well worth it.
If you can't be bothered going into town the pool bar serves very good food (at a reasonable price) until late in the evening - great if you got back from a day's travelling, and there is a buffet meal served in the restaurant - can't comment as we didn't try this but it looked good.
It is a perfect place for discovering the rest of the Costa Del Sol, right on the main A7 with a bus stop outside. In case you are worrying about the noise, this is at the back and we couldn't hear it. All rooms overlook the sea and we would recommend you ask for an upper floor in the Ronda building for the best views.
This hotel was well presented across the road from the beach. Great views and a great swimming pool. The food was a buffet at each meal time and there was a great selection for vegetarians and meat eaters. At dinner time the chef will come out of the kitchen and make a fresh omelette or fried eggs right in front of you! It's quite quiet around the area of the hotel but if your looking for more bars and restaurants then all you need to do is step out of the hotel and turn right, walk for about 20 - 30 minutes and there are hundreds of bustling bars and restaurants.
The hotel and the staff were lovely. It's in a quiet location so perfect if you want that but if not hire a car and then it's easy to get everywhere eg the beach, local shop or Marbella. Your high up so its steep, walking may not suit most!
We had a suite which was lovely but a few niggles, not a lot of sink space, 2 small bathroom areas are great, 2 showers and 2 toilets but not a lot of space to put your stuff out. Not awful by any means but go light on toiletries! Great room though, lovely.
The shower upstairs also leaks all over the floor as the shower floor doesn't slant. Just be careful!
Also half board does not include any drinks at all. Not even soft drinks with dinner which we didn't realise. Food in the evenings isn't great either. As with most buffets, food gets cold and not great or tasty food. Having said that though breakfast is great!
There is also not a lot of space around the pools and they get taken up quickly. They were renovating one of the pools when we were there which was a shame and the bar area on the roof top so perhaps this will change when all is open again.
I would def go again but only do b&b. Memorable, lovely and great staff.
Stayed before as does the family. Grew up here so I know the area well. It's mostly Spanish who stay here and it's a complete maze that never ends so it's fun after the vino finding your way. I recommended it as you're in a quiet back Street yet 100 metres from the beach/port and train and bus station are also within 100m. This is my last stay here but only because I've bought my own place again :)

Charm of Andalusia in Fuengirola centre. Las Rampas Hotel is completely located in city centre, a step away from the …More
Hotel was very clean and modern , ten minutes from the train station in fuengirola ideal for our weekend stay , we never ate in hotel so can't comment , view from room was lovely of the sea and harbour , we would return
We stayed here to do business in fuengirola and found it to be very comfortable and really central, walk out the door and you are in the centre of things. Its very Spanish away from all the all day breakfast brigade.
The reception staff were very helpful and checkout is 12pm, although I heard the receptionist telling a couple checking out but not flying til late that they could use shower facilities later in the day to get changed and freshen up.
Asked for upgrade to newly refurbished room at check- in. At only €16 per night it was well worth it ! Very comfortable beds and clean room. Effective air conditioning in room. Amazing views of beach and rooftop pool on the other building ! Reception staff friendly and polite.
Dining room rather tired and parts of
public areas dated. Breakfast was nothing special although it did have the usual full range available.
The pool area was lovely and getting finishing touches of it's refurbishment which looked very nice from our balcony. We only tried the pool area once but it was particularly windy so gave up early !
I think that if the refurbishment continues throughout the hotel it will be fabulous !!!!!
We had a two bedroom apartment on the eight floor - street side. Apartment was very clean and nice. Reception staff were excellent, very helpful. Due to the proximately to the gym across the road, the noise from the gym was not pleasant. The pool area very nice and clean. Overall I would stay there again
Fuengirola boasts eight kilometres of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels. Although heavily developed, it retains some local identity and glimpses of its historic past. The old port features traditional fishing boats, while the new marina has sleek yachts. A water park, zoo and water sports are the principal diversions while the weekly flea market is the largest and liveliest on the coast. For a glimpse of yesteryear visit neighbouring Boliche.
