A late break some rain and cloud but 4 days of lovely sun. The hotel is at the far end of the resort but this suited us as we like to walk. Right on the beach and beautiful sunrises seen from our room window. We were full board and the food was very good plenty choice. The staff were exceptional all really polite and helpful. A great stay
"Quirky hotel with amazing roof top pool and gym!"
We booked a last minute deal to this hotel so were not sure what to expect, however we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel has lots of restaurants to chose from and 3 different swimming pools. The roof top pool is amazing and has a fabulous vibe. The gym is one of the best hotel gyms we have been to. Lastly the staff are super friendly and helpful. Alex from reception made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The fresh warm cookie was also a nice touch. The only negative we had to say was that the location is a bit out of the way from the main town. This wasn't a problem for us though as we quite enjoyed the quietness. The hotel also run a free shuttle service so guests can utilise that
Loved the hotel but was spoiled by very hard uncomfortable bed and pillows.
When we asked at reception if they had any better rooms with softer beds they said that all the beds were the same and following a number of complains they had put softer toppers on all beds.
Sorry they are not sufficient, they need to replace all matrices and pillows to bring them up to standard with other quality hotels
Asked for upgrade to newly refurbished room at check- in. At only €16 per night it was well worth it ! Very comfortable beds and clean room. Effective air conditioning in room. Amazing views of beach and rooftop pool on the other building ! Reception staff friendly and polite.
Dining room rather tired and parts of
public areas dated. Breakfast was nothing special although it did have the usual full range available.
The pool area was lovely and getting finishing touches of it's refurbishment which looked very nice from our balcony. We only tried the pool area once but it was particularly windy so gave up early !
I think that if the refurbishment continues throughout the hotel it will be fabulous !!!!!
Myself and my girlfriend stayed at the hotel for 6 nights in October 2015. Receptionist at check-in was really nice. Hotel room was average size (could do without the big chair as it makes the room smaller) and clean but for what you pay for, it's great value. The balcony was really big and the views are amazing right out onto the beach/marina. The toilet was fairly big too. Wifi was really good signal strength and worked the whole time we were there - can't use when on rooftop pool though.
As others have said, the decor inside the hotel could be improved (condition of carpets) and I feel this is the only thing that lets it down.
Hotel pool is good size with alot of sunloungers around - we were usually the only people up there too. The views from the top are amazing! Right out onto the beach/sea/marina.
Breakfast was okay nothing fancy but exactly what you wanted to start your day although we didnt use it everyday as we wanted abit of a change.

Fuengirola boasts eight kilometres of sandy beaches, flanked by high-rise hotels. Although heavily developed, it retains some local identity and glimpses of its historic past. The old port features traditional fishing boats, while the new marina has sleek yachts. A water park, zoo and water sports are the principal diversions while the weekly flea market is the largest and liveliest on the coast. For a glimpse of yesteryear visit neighbouring Boliche.
