"The hotel is clean and tidy however, the decor is very dated. There are showers over baths and they’re quite high to climb in to. There is parking eye in the car park and you have to pay for parking. The machine inside states parking is £10pn for hotel guests yet there is a sign next to this stating it is £14. I questioned this and was dismissed 3 times stating it was £14 like the sign, and the parking eye machine was incorrect and could not be changed. When I stated it is illegal to say parking is £10 then to change it to £14, the staff member had to ask their manager who said I could pay £10. This practice is illegal and it makes me wonder how many other people they have done this too, please be aware it is illegal to claim one price, then at the point of sale to change the price, they can however withdraw the item from sale which would stop the confusion."

"The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some. Highly recommended if you ever find yourself near the area. "

"Room was lovely and clean although bathroom a little small. Staff where lovely, food excellent. Had a cracking view of the estuary."

"The host declared the lodge ready for us to enter. On arrival it was absolutely freezing inside and was uninhabitable. I messaged the host to say it was very cold and she ignored the message. There was no heating on at all so as we still needed a place to stay we put the heating on and went back a few hours later. To make matters worse we were with our elderly mother who has terrible rheumatoid arthritis and we had to take her back home. It was supposed to be a family get together before christmas and it was completely ruined because of the lack of care exhibited by the host. "

"Was bigger we expected, Very clean throughout comfortable full size beds, cleaning equipment like hoover, brush, dishwasher, even a washing machine. Highly recommend."
