Taigh Mòr traditional Croft house, walking distance to beaches, Atlantic views.
10/10 Excellent
"This house is set within the most beautiful surroundings. There are three of the most stunning beaches within walking distance and although close to a road it is very quiet. The house itself is clean and as described. If there were 10 people it would be a squash to seat everyone round the kitchen table, but if the single beds in the bedrooms are for children then it would work well. The single bathroom is well equipped and the shower is powerful. The porch is a lovely place to sit and watch golden eagles fly straight over you. A stunning place in a stunning location- we very much hope to come back. Carol Ann responded quickly to our queries and gave us clear instructions for arrival and departure."
Stornoway Bed and Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"Outstanding as always. Great breakfast very comfortable bed"
Tranquil Loch side cottage in the Hebrides
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great week staying at Lochan View. The property could comfortably sleep 6 people, and it felt huge with 2 adults and 2 children staying there. The house was spotless and had everything you could need, the kitchen was especially well equipped with an air fryer, slow coooker and loads of pots and pans. Although there is a small shop in the local community centre I'd recommend stocking up before you arrive as the shop is very small and has limited opening hours. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, we spent a couple of days just exploring Great Bernera and were lucky enough to catch the sunset on Bosta beach. We visited so many nice beaches across Lewis and Harris and can honestly say you can't find many better than Bosta beach, we felt so lucky to have it so close to us. Overall a brilliant holiday and some great memories made as a family!"
