« The hotel and room was extremely clean , the staff were lovely and it is very dog friendly »

« Room was filthy, dust, dirt and cobwebs. Bathroom smelt like poo. Sink leaked. Entire room smelt of damp. Bed atrocious. The pillows were flat as pancakes and very old. Fridge didn't work. Staff friendly. »

« Le spa est excellent, moderne, propre et agréable. La chambre bien mais sans plus, le restaurant bon, un peu cher mais le decor est super. »

« Very good clean well managed. »

« Great stay many thanks. Nice property but please keep it refurbed and up to date. Needs aircon for the summer, fans good but too hot as windows cannot be fully opened. Great service in the bar/restaurant but needs Guinness back rather than Caffreys Stout! Will miss the lamb skewers from new menu but the new sticky chicken ones are also good. That said a tad less bbq sauce would be ideal. »

« Excellent stay, really comfortable room with helpful staff. Restaurant was a gastronomic experience and I lived it. »

« Lovely stay. Helpful and polite staff. Good food excellent choice. Breakfast amazing. They even give you a packed lunch everyday. Room cosy and clean..will return. »

« Room clean.staff very friendly and a very good breakfast. »

« Recently completed refurbishment to a high standard of finish, with ample space and facilities. »

« Will not be returning, staff not helpful at all, dog friendly but couldn’t even let the dog have a sausage at breakfast as they had ran out, they had also ran out of biscuits for the room, garden peas and orange juice. Not a cheap nights stay so these things should not be running out!! Best staff were the morning we were leaving, had they had been on all weekend it would have made it a more pleasant stay »

« Très compliqué comme une fournaise la chambre pas réussi à dormir »

« Absolutely beautiful and quaint, similar to what you see in period movies and tv shows. We would definitely stay here again. We recommend suite 1. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Room and en-suite were remodeled recently, keeping the old world charm with updated amenities. »

« I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and overall we had a very good experience. The inside was above our expectations. The rooms were newly refurbished, clean and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining areas were also really nicely done. The beds were comfortable and everything felt fresh and well looked after. The caretaker was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our stay, and we received really good customer service, which made us feel very welcome. There are just a couple of...

« Bon emplacement pour découvrir la partie nord de Peak District. Confort sommaire mais suffisant. »
