« The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. I was able to get the room to the right temperature for me. The staff was helpful, and I was able to get the first floor as requested. It was also quiet during the night. »

« Petit déjeuner pas top. »

« They need to remove all of the trash from the outside. And get the cigarette smell from the rooms »

« Felt at home right away! »

« Such a comfy little place with everything in reach! Coffee on demand was clutch when we woke up early each morning. »

A few things that would have made our stay even better: cleaner cooking pots; real coffee mugs; better instructions for things like the outside light, and space heaters. There was also a lot of noise throughout the night from large trucks and...

« Great place to stay with pets (including horses!). Beer, wine, coffee, snacks, and continental breakfast were a bonus and a big help since restaurants are about 10 miles away. Location was perfect for going to Darling Raceway. »

« The south at it’s very best. Beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. I only wish that we’d had longer to stay. David was very friendly and accommodating. I can’t recommend this beautiful home strongly enough. Stay here……you’ll love it. »

« Quick weekend getaway turned out fine, solid facilities made settling down simple here despite being busy nearby over summer season! »

« We were in town for the 8u Diamond Youth Baseball State Tournament. John (and his parents) were/are AMAZING hosts. The boys had a check-in goodie basket and the most supportive, wonderful note of encouragement for the tournament. Not only is the property a super special place, pristinely clean, and a historical gem, but the communication, ease of the entire check-in/check-out process, and location are beyond description. John, Mary and Douglas are great, great folks and I hope to stay again...
