"I was delightfully surprised. I was needing to stay near a home I was purchasing so I was looking for a place to sleep as I was busy during the day. The motel was perfect, sorta old school in a good way. GREAT price and great for an overnight stop. Staff was great too."

El Pueblo Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Always a treat to stay at el Pueblo. They have great roooms nice and spacious friendly staff and an excellent breakfast in the mornings!"
"What a wonderful, zany, eclectic, warm apartment! Plenty of cat motif to enjoy but our dog, Ruth, felt right at home. Red Cat House is located directly west of the historic Plaza so dining and shopping was so easy. The collection of pictures on the site is very accurate. The kitchen is small but well-appointed. The apartment has a large living area with a wonderful picture window. The bedroom is spacious. It can get warm in the summer but the three window A/C units keep the apartment comfortable. And, at night, you have the choice of opening the windows (which are screened) to let in cool, fresh air. The hostess was quick to respond to any questions. We certainly recommend Red Cat House."
Hotel Don Fernando de Taos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was expected except for the bartender. She was the absolute worst. There were 4 people at the bar and she was as slow as Christmas! So we went to the bar to get a drink after waiting for 15 minutes. She told us to go sit down and she “I’ll get to you.” Rude personality and the worst service I’ve ever received at a Hilton!"
"I had a very pleasant stay at the Taos Inn. It’s close to everything and carries the old charm you just don’t find in cookie-cutter rooms. The character of the inn is a true plus. A meal at Doc Martin’s is a must, and don’t miss a late patio visit with a cocktail while people-watching the patrons of Taos. The Taos Inn is now a must-stay on my return trips."
"The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). There is an area for games or quiet time. There was a festival on the square Saturday afternoon and evening which made us appreciate the location even more. We had a 2 room suite with a Murphy bed in the first room and a king in the bedroom. We lit our gas fireplace for a few minutes for ambiance one evening before bed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."
