« The good - location. The bad: 1: gas fireplace would not stay lit more than 5 seconds. We had to use a space heater to heat room. 2: walls are thin, you can hear the neighbors on all sides. We were lucky enough to have a crying baby one one side, sick coughing couple on the other and loud walkers above. 3: mouse scurrying across the floor. 4: advertised as having propane grill, even with pictures of it on vrbo. « Loved our 4 night stay here. Well equipped self catering apartment with everything needed to cook full meals each night while watching for wildlife and looking up at the stars. We saw a large black bear in our first afternoon, fantastic! In August it was very warm overnight, and this can be uncomfortable with no AC, but having read the reviews we picked up cheap fans in Walmart, along with groceries and beers on the way through Fresno. « Cons: Overall an adequate condo for a short stay. The kitchen pots, pans and utensils could be replaced -pans were scratched, flimsy utensils. The kitchen is very small and it’s difficult to have more than one person cooking. The walls of the unit are very thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were saying. It might be tough if you’re a light sleeper. They need to replace the shower heads-very misty water flow. Very bad Internet and TV satellite reception. Pros: nice views from living...

« This is a wonderful location to stay!! Right in the middle of Yosemite. The condo is a very nice studio, clean, well maintained. It would have gotten 5 stars for sure , except the mattress was terrible. It is just a cheapie , uncomfortable mattress. Skillets we’re non stick that were in very poor condition, need to be replaced. A minor investment in the mattress and kitchen ware would make such a difference. I would love to return here sometime soon to explore Yosemite even more, hope you can...

« Host never replied to my text about heat and fireplace. Turned out it was easy, but only upon experiment. Carpet is not lovely. 2 coils on stove top did not work. Lots of decent kitchen tools, pots, pans, etc. Place was quiet, yet full of other people. Location is hard to beat. I would stay there again. »

« Great location, easy access to the unit and good communication. But it needs to be freshened up some. New paint, new sheets & towels would go a long way. »
