"Last week I spent 5 nights at Ardsley Acres. 98% of my stay was great except for one experience. Upon checking in, I was informed by the lovely lady at the desk that coffee was available 24 hours a day in the lobby. The first 2 mornings at 5:30 am, I was greeted by an awesomely friendly gentleman named Brian who buzzed me into the lobby and chit chatted with me as I made my coffee. The 3rd morning at 5:30 am I was surprised not to be buzzzed in but met by a man talking to me through the glass with "what do you want?" He buzzed me in after I said I was there for coffee, but the whole time he stated the hours to me that I was allowed to come into the lobby for coffee and breakfast. Although not rude per say, he made me feel I was being terribly intrusive. Just as a suggestion, to avoid confusion, maybe it would be best to post physical signs in the lobby and the rooms stating what the allowable times are for access to the lobby."

LIV Hotel Bronx - Newly Built

"We needed an affordable place that could easily access Manhattan. This hotel is in the Bronx. We walked to the Botanical Gardens. It may not be a place for the less intrepid, but the location was good for us as it’s walking distance to Gun Hill Rd subway stop. We could see it from our room, so that was fun."
