![The Ocoee Whitewater Center, near Ducktown, Tennessee, United States, was the canoe slalom venue for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta,[1][2] and is the only in-river course to be used for Olympic slalom competition. A 1,640 foot (500 m) stretch of the Upper Ocoee River was narrowed by two-thirds to create the drops and eddies needed for a slalom course. Today, the course is watered only on summer weekends, 34 days a year, for use by guided rafts and private boaters. « It’s our third time staying as the location is perfectly situated for two events we go to in the same weekend. The room is very comfortable and there are several thoughtful touches by the owners. We travel with our dog and the fenced in yard is perfect. Our dog also loved the basket of dog toys to play with. Water pressure/temperature and WiFi all great. »

« Absolutely WONDERFUL stay at Main&Main! We loved the beautiful, classic decor and the comfortable rooms. We came in for the BR Blues & BBQ festival. It was lovely to sit on the deck and listen to the music of the night drifting in from around town. The people watching was fun too! It was luxurious to be out on the town in the hot sun and then come take a break in the cooling AC while putting purchases away. The management was so helpful with any questions. Thank you so much for an AMAZING...
