This house is in a sketchy neighborhood and is not as nice as pictures would suggest. In addition, I should have known something was off when they called me to figure out when I would arrive. I arrived 2 hours after check in and the house was still being cleaned from the previous renter who trashed it. There was trash on the floor, a bad odor, flies buzzing around from the food left in the kitchen and sink and the TV was missing off the wall. The first offer was 100 off for my inconvenience. It was clear the rental company did not fully understand the situation at the house. The agent finally agreed to refund my entire rental fee. Thankfully we were able to find a hotel room, as it was the weekend of the OSU vs Texas game. It would have been better if the rental company was honest from the beginning about what was going on instead of letting me drive 2 hours to see with my own eyes the filth.
