Columbia is a peaceful town with a lovely boardwalk along the Scuppernong River and this home is located within walking distance of the small main street and boardwalk. « My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip to attend the bear festival in Plymouth. The house was perfect for our needs. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s and the bed was one of the most comfortable ones we have ever slept in. Sadly, we didn’t see any bears. « Greatly enjoyed our stay here for a week in February. The house was home base for us as we visited the three nearby National Wildlife Refuges. House was very clean and stocked with all essentials. Clear communications with the host added to the positive experience. Was third winter we have visited Albemarle/Pamlico peninsula to view wildlife.
