« We enjoyed a quick getaway at the GG Barnum Mansion. The property was beautiful and quiet, and our room was quite comfortable. The neighborhood was lovely, and we enjoyed a muffin and coffee on our way out. We would have enjoyed using the sauna if we had had a bit more time. »

« This property was beautiful. Many areas for guests to use outside and inside. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking for guest behind Mansion. Quiet and safe location. Coffee, tea, muffins, fruit in am. Room had plenty of towels, toilet paper, nice ftidge, mictowave, coffee in guest room. I loved this place and will stay in the future. »

« Very modern and comfortable property with a beautiful vista of the lake. There was street parking available, but not a lot of it. The area is typical urban Minnesota, with some good restaurants and coffee shops. It was a short trip to the tourist area near the water. »

« This was a very cute hotel! Nice deco and close to Canal Park. It would have been nice to have a top sheet for the sofa bed. There may be people who don’t use one but us seniors do. Please put one on the bag for next time. »

« A well appointed, nice room. Liked the historical nature of the hotel. However, the bed was most uncomfortable. Very hard to get a good nights sleep as I have a bad back and knees. Also, though the bathroom was spacious, the shower was so small I could barely turn around in it. »

« Could not figure out where the parking was. Said parking was behind building but no spaces all day. Did find secure parking down the street next to the casino. »

« Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. Then - the walk just to the lobby to check in, with luggage, is about 300 yards via a bridge, another locked bridge with an intercom, down...

« The room was charming and welcoming and beautifully appointed. The location was fabulous with the ability to go for long walks along the lakefront a few steps away. I didn’t receive check-in instructions and had to call for those when I arrived but the staff were super helpful and even got my room ready early as the weather was dreadful and I had my dog with me. It was a lovely place to stay! »
