"No frills place which allows a family of three in a decent clean accomodation with a microwave kitchenette. We stayed in a chalet style room called the works but they do have other just room only options. Parking is plenty and no hassle in that. Don't expect room service and very very high standards as it is a no frills experience. They do cater to housekeeping if asked for and will change towels if you request but don't expect it to be an automatic event. We were pretty happy with the whole experience as most of the time we were outside sightseeing and just needed a place to crash. Beds were just firm and comfy for a good night sleep. Will visit again if I come across this place. The staff at the reception were very helpful."

"Room was clean (although there was a half eaten pizza from the last guests that the cleaners missed and was there throughout our stay), the basic service was great breakfast was good and staff were helpful and friendly. The view from the bar and restaurant was great. As it was a special occasion we had paid extra to upgrade the room and were a bit disappointed with that. We paid for a signature sea view room and while we did have a sea view all we could see from our bed was the wall of the hotel, so couldn’t really enjoy it. The room was also quite tight and looked like we had been given one of the smallest on the floor which was also disappointing. I would stay here again but would say that the upgrades are not worth it. Stick to a standard room and you won’t be disappointed. "

"Clean hotel, decent facilities, pool nice and warm, usually you can find parking outside unless it’s peak season. But scored down because they had no vegetarian sasuages despite us mentioning when we checked in. This is unforgivable in this day and age as there was no alternative and a lack of initiative to solve the issue eg go to the local coop and get some. Not very inclusive… "

"The room we stayed in was very dirty, hairs all over the bathroom sink and marks on the walls. Found a false nail on the window sill. The furnishings were worn and damaged. We ended up moving rooms because it was so dirty. The property is very dated and you could hear everything in the rooms above and next to us. The hot tub needed to be cleaned and the water was not hot. The pool was ok!"

"Not a luxury hotel but for the price its pretty good. The room layout is similar to a chain hotel room and it was clean and tidy. The staff were great and always friendly. I never ate here so cant comment on the food. They have entertainment on at the weekends which you can hear in your rooms but its not excessive and finished at 10 pm each night. I would happily stay here again if i found myself in the area. "

"I consider my stay very successful. The atmosphere and service were extremely pleasant. The rooms were very clean, with daily towel changes, bedding replaced when needed, and regular replenishment of coffee and tea. The only downside was the constant, very loud noise coming from outside the window — most likely from a fan — which lasted from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and unfortunately made it difficult to fully relax."
