« If you want to be away from the main town buzz, this is the place! Although it takes about 45 minutes to get to the state park, or a long time to get to any attractions, restaurants, etc., it provides the 'get-away' in a relaxing atmosphere. The house is big and nice and sleeps 12 on 2 floors. The kitchen is upstairs, so make sure you can go up and down the stairs several times. « The location of this house is stunning. It's on a peninsula that sticks out in to Clear Lake, and then it itself is on its own little rocky promontory that sticks out from the peninsula. The house is about 50 feet up from the lake. The upshot of this is that you get an amazing view of the lake from sunrise to sunset, and due to it sticking out to the lake a bit, a lot of the local birds use the updraft it creates. « My start was great! The room was clean enough (someone left Taco Bell in the fridge). The fridge was large and cold. There was a microwave as well. A table to work at and a table to eat at (chairs for both). Right on the lake was a big plus! A lot of folks hanging out in the parking lot. Don’t bother me none but it may bother others! »
