"I planned a trip to Carter Lake late in the process and all hotels closer to the lake were booked. It was about a 30-minute drive to Crater Lake from this hotel, which was not a problem for me. The hotel is older with few amenities, but it is clean and safe. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was fine for me."

"Rooms were clean. The outside gives the appearance of being "run down". I think that's on purpose because it's been around for a long time. Purportedly haunted. Unfortunately we didn't experience any annomalies."

"We stayed during the summer, the A/C system is lacking. It does not cool the upstairs Master Bedroom. The downstairs was cool, but not the upstairs. The T.V. In the master bedroom did not work. I messaged host, she was aware. Other than these things, the property was great."

"We had a fantastic time on our mini-vacay, and this was such a peaceful place to relax after a busy day! I saw a wild bunny in the morning while enjoying the view just out the master bedroom patio door. I may have missed it in the description, but do be aware the step down into the master bedroom and the one up into the master bath are a little high, if you have mobility issues. Would definitely recommend this property to friends!"

"The property is lovely and right off the main route. The host was super friendly and helpful when needed. The cabins were really cute and clean. The only issue was that the bed was really hard, and I usually like a firmer bed but it was even uncomfortable for me."
