Amenities and service, not so much -- couldn't get a room assigned at 2:30, sent to a room that had not been cleaned, no coffee in the lobby before 6:00, none of which were extreme but cumulatively giving a sense that this hotel is not as nice as it could be and should be. It started as a high-end downtown option and has slowly but surely become a good but by no means exceptional hotel. Location is very nice, downtown Providence and within a few blocks of many restaurants and other amenities."

When we get to the breakfast area, on top of the table was 2 muffins, frozen small premade patty with cheese and sausage, and the guy in charge saying “ This is sample”. And……. I have to ask him for other same sandwich and also ask to put it in microwave, same with muffin. No coffee was made in advance, It was an empty Coffee pot on the shelf, again we were waiting for the same guy to bring a coffee to the breakfast area. For this breakfast Expedia charged me extra 24$ for two people. After speaking to manger about breakfast quality, he agreed to return back money for Breakfast, but I did not see any changes on my Expedia bill. Hope Sonesta will change their breakfast to something they are advertising. In general hotel is very nice."
