Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so special, including leaving chocolates and a birthday card, in our room. Highly recommended to stay. We will stay again
It was just a quick stay, but it was wonderful! Fiona and Perry were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, with a delicious breakfast in the morning! Highly recommend staying at the Drumee Lodge!
This is the old style bed and breakfast, settled in beautiful location surrounded by trees with plenty of birds flying aroundand making wonderful noise. Hosts are very helpful and nice, breakfast was good, facilities were good. It's a quiet peaceful place surrounded by nature
Gorgeous property in a quiet rural location, but convenient (5 minute drive) to several towns with lots of dining options. Very comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower, charming and welcoming hosts, and delicious(!) breakfast. Beautiful garden filled with birdsong, very peaceful and relaxing - we would have loved to stay longer! Hosts were very helpul with recommendations for places to eat and things to see - absolutley delightful all around!
I stayed in Newcastle for three nights and was incredibly fortunate to choose Drummer Lodge. The location, surrounding environment, and the room’s facilities can only be described as excellent and delightful—absolutely fantastic! The hostess, Fiona, and her husband, Perry, are both extremely friendly and warm, making you feel right at home in no time.
At dawn, the chirping birds under the giant Scottish pine trees gently wake you from a restful night’s sleep, as the distant mountains emerge from the morning mist. As a traveler, after a refined and delicious breakfast and a cup of hot coffee, what better place could there be to recharge your energy and embrace a new day? Ready for your Tee time. Thank you, Piona and Perry!
A truly pleasant and comfortable home! The room was very nice and the surrounding area spectacular but the highlight was definitely the owners, Fiona and Perry who made me feel genuinely welcome. Quiet, relaxing, and highly recommended. And the breakfast was top notch.
A very pleasant overnight stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and couldn't have been more accomodating. Breakfast was delicious and advice of local places to visit was much appreciated.
