It was our first visit to Castlepoint and we were blown away by the whole area with plenty to see and do from boogie boarding the sand dunes, watching the kite surfers, sitting up at the lighthouse at night, watching the seals come into shore, fishing off the rocks, swimming in the lagoon or scaling Castle Rock. Rain provided some nice down time and the fish and chips on Thursday were outstanding. The property itself is basic but really comfortable, no wifi (which was part of the 'getaway' plan) and a cool place to connect with each other instead. Host communication was awesome throughout. The only thing that stopped it being 5 stars was that there was no laundry facilities, something that by day 3 we were starting to miss. Other than that, a great stay in a great bach in a cool spot.
