"Great rest stop on our way to Rome. There is no direct access to the lake (it's about a 2 km walk/drive from the hotel), but the hotel is clean and nice. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the free continental breakfast was wonderful! Great selection of pastries, and two very excellent coffee/cappuccino machines. Overall, a great place to rest, in a quiet, peaceful area."

"We had a fantastic stay at Locanda della Posta and couldn't have asked for a better experience in Perugia. The hotel is in excellent condition and perfectly situated right in the heart of town—you are literally steps away from incredible restaurants and all the main historic sites. The standout feature of our stay was the breakfast staff, who were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. One member of our party cannot eat gluten and the staff went above and beyond, bringing out fresh gluten-free muffins specifically for them every single morning! It made a huge difference to our trip. They also helped us celebrate a birthday during breakfast by surprising us with a candle and delicious tarts, which was such a thoughtful, personal touch. If you're looking for a beautiful hotel with top-tier service and a perfect location, I highly recommend staying here. We had a great stay!"

"The room was very cold, and despite raising this with staff, I was initially told that the heating was functioning correctly. After complaining again, the heating was eventually turned on, which was appreciated; however, the unit was extremely loud and could not be used throughout the evening. The walls are also very thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard. The room did not include any tea or coffee facilities, which I would consider a basic expectation for a four-star hotel. I also requested an iron but was informed that one was not available and that I would need to pay €5 for a shirt to be ironed instead. On a positive note, the breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. However, I would choose to stay at a different hotel on my next visit."
